We allow wheelchairs and pushchairs onto the ice rink.
This is often the very first time some of our guests have ever had the opportunity to go on real ice.
We just ask that adult supervision is available at all times and all wheels are clean.

We are independent and there is no harm in asking. You can ask for a smaller cup in our restaurant for instance, change your skates halfway through skating for a comfier fit (some people wear two pairs of socks and forget to up a size!), or that we can deliver bulky items to your ho-ho-home – just ask we’ll see what we can do.

Cuddle Day

A fabulous time was had by all (especially the animals!) at our most recent Cuddle Day. This particular cuddle event was just before hallowe’en so some of the scariest snakes and scariest spiders were available, along with some particular cute and fluffy friends for those not quite so daring.

Who Doesn’t Like a Cuddle? Especially on Their Birthday?

Kids ‘Cuddle’ Parties
Great fun for your little animals, and ours too!!
Fantastic fun for all ages at Whilton Locks Garden Village – A Birthday Party Cuddle Day!

Invite your friends for an unforgettable party – share fab party food then meet the animals; from the cute and fluffy to the scaly and slimy!

On Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two party times. We offer a brunch party, which would start at 10am and finish at 11:30am or an afternoon tea party, from 3:00pm – 4.30pm.

Monday to Friday, we offer an afternoon tea party from 3:30 pm until 5:00pm.
The party will include food first and then a cuddle session with the animals.

For the brunch it would be a cooked breakfast. This includes one sausage, a fried egg, hash brown and beans and squash for the children. The adults will have a gardeners breakfast; a rasher of bacon, sausage, one fried egg, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes and a slice of toast, with a cup of tea or coffee.

For the afternoon tea party, the children will have two jam and one ham sandwich, a cupcake, popcorn and marshmallows, with a squash. The adults would have a homemade scone with raspberry jam and Cornish clotted cream and a homemade Victoria sponge with a cup of tea or coffee.

The price structure is as follows:

Our party price structure starts at £199. This includes the full party package as above for 13 people.
Additional people, children or adults, over the minimum of 13, will be charged at £9.99 per head. We have a maximum party number of 40.
