Brand new for Christmas 2023 – A Dash of Magic – a fully immersive, family fun experience at Whilton Locks Winter Wonderland.

Join Dash in Santa’s magic powered sleigh in full HD Virtual Reality in a fantastical Christmas journey.

Seating up to 8 people*, our virtual reality sleigh ride offers a perfect family attraction during the festive period! Housed in Santa’s sleigh lodge, once aboard, you’ll be seamlessly transported into the virtual bay using our HD VR headsets.

Your intrepid journey with Dash will soon begin, along with the incredible range of motions our sleigh has to offer; two front fans and surround sound for a fully immersive 4D experience. Tilting forwards, backwards and side to side, the sleigh’s movements have been specially designed to mirror those of the full 360 degree experience, creating a truly festive feast for all the senses.

NB.
Tickets are available to purchase within 15 minute slots. You can book tickets for a session and arrive to enjoy your A Dash of Magic a few minutes before your allocated time and we’ll get you aboard as soon as possible. Oh snow! Please note, it is Christmas and this popular attraction may involve a short queue during the most busiest periods.

*This experience is NOT suitable for children under 3 years old. There are no restraints on a moving ride and accompanying adults will be wearing a VR headset, thus you will not be able to see your small child. Similarly we do not recommend this ride if you are pregnant or have any underlying health conditions. The ride does have lighting effects and again caution should be taken.
