In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.
One Bank Holiday weekend morning the warm sun came up…
and POP, out of the egg came a tiny, very hungry caterpillar.
He started looking for some food.
So he POPPED (again!) to Whilton Locks Garden Village.
Where they served breakfast all day, a fantastic range of hot meals and snacks (a roast on Sunday), Afternoon Tea and incredible cakes.
The very hungry caterpillar wasn’t a very hungry caterpillar anymore!
(A special tribute to Eric Carle, who gave generations of children some of their earliest literary memories).
