We are an award winning family run, independent Garden Centre nestled on the Warwickshire – Northamptonshire border just off the A5, close to Daventry.
About Us:
We have been open since 2004 and the site is vibrant and full of interesting products. As we are independent we are able to choose our own stock, which means that we have one-off pieces, and some more unusual items, whilst still catering for all your gardening needs.
At Whilton Locks Garden Village you will find a well stocked garden centre, Brunos Pet Store and our mouth-watering, recently extended, Canalside Restaurant – it’s the perfect place to visit, whatever the weather!
We have a friendly and experienced team who are more than happy to help you with whatever your gardening or pets needs may be.
We know that great customer service, good prices and to stock what you’re looking for is what everyone expects of a great local garden centre. Recently Whilton Locks was voted The Best Garden Centre in Northamptonshire!
We are pet and wheelchair friendly throughout the site too.

We are so very excited to share this photo of Whilton Locks Garden Village.
NASA astronaut and Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman took this picture of us from the Orion spacecraft's window on April 2, 2026, after completing the translunar injection burn.
We aren’t 100% sure what that last line means but we sure can vouch for that being us, there, absolutely, er… yes.
In fact, if you look very closely you can see we have a fantastic selection of composts and soil improvers by our front door, and no, you aren’t mistaken, that IS a member of our staff helping to load a customers car; because that’s what we do.
To the north of the compost area and main building (note to self, might need to clean the roof) you can see our outdoor area, partially covered by our polytunnel however, you can still make out the fantastic quality of plants and the huge quantity and choice available.
So there you have it folks, from 200,000 miles away, we are pretty amazing. If you don’t believe us, why not come and orbit our little space yourself? You might even love us to the moon - and back!
